Develop the practical skills you need to use the CICS Web Support (CWS) Application Programming Interface (API) and the 3270 Web Bridge supplied with CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) 1.3. Through lectures and hands-on labs learn the various components of CWS, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), and form designs. Concentrate on developing robust, efficient, and secure Web-based CICS applications. Use Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL) to complete the lab exercises.
