  Module 1 - The Purpose of a Backup and Restore System

Provide several reasons why backing up data is important in a business
Describe the purpose of a backup and restore system in a business continuity plan
Describe the purpose of a backup and restore system in disaster recovery
Describe the purpose of a backup and restore system in regards to high availability




  Module 2 - Backup Methods and Strategies

Describe the three basic types of backup systems
List and describe common backup methods
Describe full, incremental, and differential backup levels
Describe backup schedules, rotation schedules, and a retention scheme
Perform a local backup using the ufsdump command
Perform a local restore using the ufsrestore command




  Module 3 - Tape Drives

Explain the advantages of using various tape drive technologies
Explain the various types of tape media
Explain the basics of tape drive technology
Access and manipulate tape devices using the mt command




  Module 4 - Tape Storage Systems

Describe the different tape storage systems
