To succeed fully in this course, students should have:

Familiarity with the following Microsoft products: Windows NT/2000, SQL Server, and Internet Information Server (IIS)
Knowledge of networking and databases (ORACLE(R) and Sybase a plus)
Familiarity with Solaris OE, HPUX, AIX, Linux
Familiarity with Naming Services
Knowledge of Storage (SAN, NAS, and so on)

Describe how the basic Sun StorEdge Resource Management Suite components work with various storage resources




  Module 2 - Installing the Capacity Reporter Server

Describe the Capacity Reporter server architecture
Describe the Capacity Reporter server processes
Describe the Capacity Reporter scanner process
Describe the Capacity Reporter server components
Explain Capacity Reporter database concepts
Verify that the system on which you plan to install the Capacity Reporter server has met the prerequisites
